Hellman and Walter's Oscars Night Out
St. Jude's Event
Andaz Hotel
West Hollywood, California
On the red carpet, I interviewed Olivia Holt of Disney, who is originally from a small Tennessee town. Holt is only 15 years old and is already known for four well-known projects which include Disney's Kickin It, the television show Girl vs. Monster, the drama Black & Blue, and the TV movie, known as The 80th Annual Hollywood Parade. Olivia is also a talented singer and gymnast which adds to her appeal as a teen actress.
At the Hellman & Walter post Oscar event, I ran into Jeffery Gund, (pictured left) CEO and founder of infolist.com. Infolist.com is a great resource for both aspiring or veteran actors, actresses, and other industry professionals. The website infolist.com, is a well-known in Los Angeles and features industry events, casting information, information on classes related to acting, and provides opportunities for those to advertise.
At the Hellman & Walter event I spent some time with both producers, Bogdan Szumilas Wonna I De Jong of Sweden. Originally, I met Bogdan at a past event at Shane Black's home in Beverly Hills. A former native of Poland, Szumilas studied at the Paris-Sorbonne University before moving to Los Angeles to become a producer and actor in entertainment. Bogdan is known for the films Violent Blue and Darling Nikki and also known as a film investor. Szumilas specializes in casting international actors and actresses in his projects to encourage multiculturalism in Hollywood. Wonna I De Jong is known for being a film investor, real estate mogul, and is also producing in Hollywood. A current project that Wonna has been involved in was Blue Dream, serving as the executive producer.
At the Alive Expo Project Green Oscars Gifting event, I met designer Eva Chen. Eva has lived all over the world in Singapore, San Fransisco, New York and in Europe, which has shaped her vision of what quality fashion should represent. The line has many tailored, yet feminine ensembles, which are gaining notoriety internationally. Currently, Eva is located in Vancouver, Canada and in Los Angeles, California. Her line has hit the runways of New York, Montreal, Tokyo, and Vancouver, Canada. Chen offers personal styling in both her Los Angeles, California store and location in Vancouver, Canada.

During pre-oscar events at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, I had the pleasure of meeting, world renowned fashion icon Valentino and his bussiness partner Giancarlo Giamenti. The legendary work of Valentino has been in the public eye for decades, gracing red carpets and other high profile events by celebutantes such as Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, and Princess Margaret. This year at the 2013 Oscars, Jennifer Aniston, Sally Fields, and Hilary Swank all opted for crimson Valentino gowns to enhance their presence at the event.

At the Project Green Oscars gifting, I visited with Anthony Tivnan and Joshua Hebert, co-owners of Magellen Jets. Anthony and Joshua came by to support a great cause known as Project Green. The non-profit organization is based out of Atlanta, Georgia and has celebrity events during the Emmys and the Oscars, and even during The Sundance Film Festival. The aim of the organization is to encourage current generations to think about conservation, preservation, along with eco-friendly practices to that will forever impact future generations. Project Green's goal is also to help protect children from at-risk backgrounds through summer programs that model healthy lifestyles through proper nutrition and physical fitness. Some of the celebrities that have endorsed Project Green include Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Jessica Parker, Neve Campbell, and Justin Timberlake.
